This thread is in place to help one another avoid being price gouged. And also to update who has the model needed in stock. Price, problems, any issues or thoughts.....this is the place for them
I bumped into Recruit Lindsey at OpenRange today. She had purchased her service weapon already and stated that ShooterSupply had models available in stock. Joy at OpenRange said her distributor had 10 G22 Gen 3 on hold for her to sell to her customers. Shooters and OpenRange both give discounts for police, ems, etc. Anyhow that's a start I suppose. Enjoy.

glocktalk.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=203089&d=1282670840Above is a form from Glock about getting the weapon from the manufacturer. You get the right magazines we need and can get the night sights. I'm going to call Glock tomorrow and find out what sort of documentation we need to get the weapon. We qualify since we are in the academy. I will try and get more information out tomorrow.

Hey guys Keisler's in Indiana cuts a good deal. Also, Mrs. Hogan (MAC 23 President) has an Uncle that works there. I spoke with her and she said she would help us get squared aware as well.

Keisler's is the supplier for Glock 22's at OpenRange. Forgot to put that up. OR does not carry the 22 with night sights in stock. Just FYI.

I am not in town I will call and make sure but if I remember it did say on the tag that it did.....also they said if we bring them a list of what leathers we needed they could have them in 4 days. Finally they also have the smith and Weston handcuffs as well as the pen size cuff keys. Also for advice shooters supply can only sale the gun no leathers. But again their. Gun is more at the blue level price or Leo price.

Make sure that you tell the dealer that you need an "LE" Glock. This means the gun will have a blue label on the box and it comes with 3 magazines. If they do not have a blue label and they tell you that they will give you a regular glock with the 3 magazines for that price then go ahead and buy it. It is the same thing.
I bought mine at Wolf supply today and it was $537 after taxes. This was with nightsights and he charge me an extra $25 because it had the LMPD patch on the barrell. Do not forget that the prices they are giving you over the phone will still have taxes added to it and they may charge you a fee for doing the paperwork. You will also more than likely have to have the department letter head and/or your department ID when buying the LE gun. They have to put it all with the paperwork to show that they are only selling the Blue Label guns to Law Enforcement. I have bought numerous guns from Bill Wolf and he knows that I was with the Sheriff's Office so he was still willing to sale me the gun without the letterhead.

Does anyone have a suggestion on a good lighting system to attach to the glock? I see that there are three options for the 6360 holsters. TI M3 Light TLR-1, LAS-TAC 2, or SureFire X200? Also does the lighting system have to be the same for everyone?

I have the Streamlight M3. I love it. My girlfriend carries the Blackhawk something or another and it literally fell apart when she took it off of her gun to show it to me. It is very cheap and the battery was completely dead in it. I have had the same batteries in mine for almost 4 years and they still work. I highly recommend it.

I use the Surefire X300, and I really like it. Surefire products are made extremely well and can take a beating. Really lights up a room during a house search. FYI, the X200 and the X300 are the same size, so that holster for the X200 will fit both.
