Just a note to those buying your pistols already- There was a possible reliability issue that was argued to be related to either a magazine spring or a balance issue when a light was mounted to a Glock 22. This can result in a feed malfunction and may even be a repeated issue making it totally unreliable. That being said, you may think twice before buying a used model (our LEO price will almost always beat any used price) and personally I would consider avoiding Gen 3 altogether as it appears to have been addressed in Gen 4 last summer and there is negligible price difference. There is a lot of debate as to the validity of it being light related or the specific cause but it is something that has definitely occurred and will cause you grief if you happen to purchase a pistol the develops this issue with use. In the end I think it is a "better to be on the safe side" conclusion but there are several that argue it to be an isolated issue. The URL below is Glock's voluntary recall and the date they began replacing the spring. us.glock.com/customer-service/recoil-spring-exchangeYou may never have an issue but it may be a good idea to purchase a Gen 4 manufactured after July 2011, especially if you plan on using a light. Sorry for the long post. Thanks, Casey
